In February 2022, I hosted what was called, The Black Man Extravanganza. It was a way to put a new spin on how we perceive black history. It was also an opportunity to bring together the men who participated in my now award-winning documentary, The Four I’s of the Black Man. That night was the official premiere of the film, followed by Q&A with the panelists, and a ceremony to honor them for being men we could be proud of. Men from various parts of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Georgia were in attendance.
In March 2024, in honor of Women’s History Month, I will host, The Total Woman Experience. That event will bring together phenomenal women, some of who will be featured in my upcoming documentary entitled, I Survived It All. It will provide an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the issues that women face all while celebrating each other for our fierce ability to persevere.
